About me / Bio:
Prince Prisdang was a member of the Chakri dynasty of Siam and a Thai diplomat. He was born in Bangkok as Prince Prisdang Chumsai, a grandson of Rama III. Educated in Singapore and England, he graduated with top awards from King's College London in 1876. As a diplomat, he established the first permanent Siamese Embassy in England and became ambassador to eleven European countries and the United States. He was involved in drafting a proposal for Siam's transition to a constitutional monarchy to prevent colonization.
