Manlee Kongprapad

Manlee Kongprapad was a distinguished Thai dancer, celebrated for her versatility in performing various characters and roles in traditional Thai dance. Her talent was especially notable in Khon, where she could even perform men's roles, making her a prominent figure in the royal dance circles of her time. Born into a humble background, she developed a passion for dance early on and rose to prominence within the royal circles as a performer and later as a teacher. She contributed significantly to the preservation and teaching of traditional Thai dance, ensuring the art form's continuity for future generations.
