Moosa AbdulRahman Hassan

Moosa AbdulRahman Hassan was a prominent Omani businessman, tribal leader, and landlord. Born in the old town of Muscat, he completed his education at the American Mission School. In 1927, he founded a company that supplied coal and foodstuffs to British ships in Muscat. He played a significant role in establishing postal services and was a pioneer in the money transfer service between the 1940s and 1960s, aiding Omanis abroad. His involvement in trade and business, especially with the British Petroleum Company, left a lasting impact on Oman's commercial development.
