Rahila bint Amur Al Riyami was an Omani politician known for being one of the first two women directly elected to the Consultative Assembly in 2000. She served as Director of Educational Planning at the Ministry of Education for 16 years and was re-elected to the Assembly in 2003. In 2007, she was appointed to the Council of State, serving as its head of Human Resources Development. She was a trailblazer for women's political participation in Oman.
