Lorena Rojas

Lorena Rojas was a Mexican actress and singer, best known for her leading roles in popular telenovelas. She began her artistic career in 1990 when she participated in the telenovela Alcanzar Una Estrella produced by Televisa. She starred in several Televisa productions until she signed to TV Azteca in 1998. She also released two albums as a singer, Como Yo No Hay Ninguna in 2001 and Deseo in 2006. She moved to Telemundo in 2003 and appeared in several successful shows, such as El Cuerpo del Deseo, Pecados Ajenos, and Rosario. She also acted in some films, such as Corazones Rotos and Los Ocho. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and fought the disease for seven years. She died in Miami, Florida, in 2015, six days after her 44th birthday. She was married to Patrick Shaas from 2001 to 2005 and had an adopted daughter, Luciana. She was also in a relationship with Jorge Monje until her death. She was loved and admired by many fans and colleagues for her talent, beauty, and courage.
