Olumide Bakare

Olumide Bakare was a Nigerian actor who started his career in the sitcom Koko Close where he played the role of Chief Koko, a troublesome landlord. He later appeared in many Nollywood movies and TV shows, such as Maami, Ise Onise, Ofin Kokonla, Oromodie, Last Flight to Abuja, Kofo the First Lady, and Gbogbomolo. He was known for his versatility and ability to portray different characters, ranging from comedy to drama. He was also a mentor to many young actors and actresses in the industry. He died on 22 April 2017 at the age of 63, after battling with heart and lung disease for over a year. He was rushed to the University College Hospital in Ibadan, where he passed away. He was buried in Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria. He was a popular and respected figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry and was mourned by many fans and colleagues.
