Dương Văn Minh, commonly known as Big Minh, was a prominent figure in the history of Vietnam. He served as a general in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam and played a significant role during the presidency of Ngô Đình Diệm. In 1963, he led a coup that resulted in the assassination of Diệm and became the chief of the military junta. Despite his brief tenure as president, he was a key player in the political landscape of South Vietnam during a tumultuous period. His life and career were marked by the complex dynamics of the Vietnam War and its aftermath.
