Xavier Lopez Chabelo

Xavier Lopez Chabelo was a Mexican actor and comedian, best known for his TV show En Familia con Chabelo, which ran for 48 years and featured games, contests and prizes for children and families. He also appeared in more than 30 films and dubbed many animated characters in Spanish, such as Winnie the Pooh and Gargamel. He was widely recognized for his childish humor and his catchphrase "¡Cuate, aquí hay tomate!" (Buddy, there's tomato here!). He received many awards and honors for his long and successful career, such as the Guinness World Record for the most episodes of a TV show hosted by the same person, the Premio TVyNovelas for his lifetime achievement, and the keys to the city of Miami. He died peacefully at his home in Mexico City at the age of 88, surrounded by his family and friends. He is remembered as a national icon and a beloved entertainer for generations of Mexicans.
