Kanokphong Songsomphan

Kanokphong Songsomphan was a Thai writer born on February 9, 1966, in Khuan Khanun, Phatthalung Province. He published his first poem at the age of 15 and co-founded the Nakhon Group to conserve culture and literature. His notable works include 'Another Land' and 'The Broken Bridge,' which earned him the S.E.A. Write Award in 1996. Kanokphong's writing often reflected the local cultures and conflicts in Southern Thailand. He passed away on February 13, 2006, leaving behind a legacy of influential literary works.
