Duong Quynh Hoa

Dương Quỳnh Hoa was a prominent figure in the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. She served as a cabinet member in its provisional government. Born into an upper-class family in Saigon, she moved to Paris in the 1950s and became a communist. After completing her medical studies, she returned to Vietnam, where she was a founding member of the Viet Cong. Despite personal tragedy, she continued her revolutionary activities, later becoming a critic of the communist regime after the war. Her life reflects the complex history of Vietnam during a tumultuous century.
