Lam Thi My Da

Lâm Thị Mỹ Dạ was a renowned Vietnamese poet known for her contributions to Vietnamese literature. She was born on September 18, 1949, in Le Thuy, Quang Binh, and passed away on July 6, 2023, in Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City. Throughout her life, she was recognized for her poetic works that reflected the depth of human emotions and the complexities of life. Her notable works include 'Trái tim sinh nở' and 'Khoảng trời – Hố bom', which have been taught in Vietnamese literature programs. She was awarded the State Prize for Literature and Art in 2007 for her outstanding contributions to the field.
