Raul Araiza

Raúl Araiza was a Mexican actor, director and producer of cinema and television. He was born in Minatitlán, Veracruz, on September 1, 1935. He began his career as an actor in the 1950s, appearing in films such as La Constitución, El ángel exterminador, Los caifanes, and El infierno de todos tan temido. He also directed several films, such as El milagro de vivir, El placer de la venganza, and Día de muertos. He was the father of two actors, Raúl Araiza Herrera and Armando Araiza, who followed his footsteps in the entertainment industry. He died of pancreatic cancer on January 8, 2013, in Veracruz, Veracruz. He was 77 years old. He is remembered as one of the most prolific and versatile figures of Mexican cinema and television.
