Seema Begum, mononymously known as Seema, was a Pakistani stage and film actress who played supporting roles in Urdu and Punjabi films from 1964 to 2009. She appeared in several notable films, including Heer Ranjha, Sharafat, Shabana, and Maula Jat. She started her career as a heroine of actor Habib in the 1964 film Laadli. She was befriended by singer Naseem Begum, who took her to filmmaker Shabab Kiranvi. She later became a leading actress in both Urdu and Punjabi films. She also directed a film Aag in 1992, starring Reema and Shaan. She died in a coma on April 23, 2019 in Lahore and was buried in the Gulberg graveyard.
