Cleyde Yáconis was a Brazilian actress who began her career at the Brazilian Comedy Theater (TBC) with her sister, Cacilda Becker. She had a repertoire of more varied and illustrious theatrical dramaturgy nationwide. She also participated in many television productions, such as Mulheres de Areia, Rainha da Sucata, Vamp and Torre de Babel. Her most striking role was Isabelle de Bresson in Rainha da Sucata, a bankrupt millionaire who behaved as if she were still rich and did not accept the reality in which she lived. She was married to actor Stênio Garcia for 11 years, but they separated in 1969. She had no children. She died in 2013 at the age of 89, due to complications from a broken femur. She was honored with the name of a theater in São Paulo, the Cleyde Yáconis Theatre, in recognition of her contribution to the Brazilian culture.
