Harald Heide-Steen Jr

Harald Heide-Steen Jr was a Norwegian actor, comedian and singer who was known for his role as Dynamitt-Harry in the Olsenbanden films. He was also known as an improvisational comedian, often in duo with Rolv Wesenlund under the name Wesensteen in the late 1960s. Heide-Steen Jr was born in Oslo, Norway, as the son of actor Harald Heide Steen. He started his career as a child actor in films and theatre, and later studied singing at the Music Conservatory in Oslo. He worked as a producer and assistant at NRK TV from 1959 to 1965, where he created over 100 programs of various genres. He also participated in several revues and cabarets, both as a writer and a performer, and became famous for his many characters and imitations of foreign languages and authorities. He was awarded several prizes for his work, such as the Spellemannprisen, the Leonardstatuetten, and the Oslo City Culture Prize. Heide-Steen Jr was married four times and had two children, who also became actors. He died of lung cancer in 2008, at the age of 68.
