Faiz Muhammad Zikria

Sardar Haji Faiz Muhammad Khan Zikeria was a distinguished Afghan politician and diplomat. Born in Kabul in 1892, he served as the counselor of Foreign Service in 1921 and was the acting Minister of Education from 1923 to 1924, later becoming the Minister for Education from 1924 to 1927. He also held the position of Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1929 to 1938, and served as Ambassador to Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia. Zikeria was a member of the Mohammad Zai dynasty and was known for his contributions to education and diplomacy. He retired in 1960 and emigrated to the USA in 1964, where he lived until his death in 1979.
