Danuta Siedzikówna was a Polish medical orderly in the 4th Squadron of the 5th Wilno Brigade of the Home Army. She joined the resistance movement after her father was exiled to Siberia and her mother was killed by the Gestapo. She served under various commanders, including Zygmunt Szendzielarz, "Łupaszko", and Leon Beynar, "Nowina". She was captured, tortured, and sentenced to death by the communist authorities at the age of 17. She was executed by firing squad in Gdańsk, along with Feliks Selmanowicz, "Zagonczyk". She is considered a national heroine and was posthumously awarded the Silver Cross of the Virtuti Militari.
