Chinedu Nwadike

Chinedu Nwadike was born on June 26, 1983, in Orlu, Imo State, Nigeria. He grew up in a Christian family and developed a passion for music at a young age. He started singing in the church choir and later joined a musical group called The Apostles. He released his first album, Oku Gbajie Aka Ji Ngozi m, in 2002, which was a huge success and earned him the nickname "The God of Vengeance". He went on to release more albums, such as Afo Ngozim, God of Vengeance, Top Praise, Igozirim, and I do. His songs were popular among Christians and non-Christians alike, as they conveyed messages of hope, faith, love, and peace. He also ventured into acting and featured in some Nollywood movies, such as The Last Supper, The Final Judgement, and The End Time. He was known for his humility, generosity, and dedication to his ministry. He was married to Dorah Chinedu Nwadike and they had two sons. He was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2021 and later with blood cancer. He received financial support from some prominent Nigerians to pay for his medical bills. He recovered from the kidney disease and was scheduled to travel to India for further treatment of the blood cancer. However, he died on March 27, 2022, in Abuja, at the age of 38. He was mourned by his fans, friends, family, and colleagues, who described him as a golden voice and a great evangelist. He was buried in Abuja, where he lived before his death.
