Alhaji Ahmed Hassan Jumare, also known as Branco, was a Nigerian politician who served as the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly from 2012 to 2015. He was a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and a close associate of former Vice President Namadi Sambo. He also served as the Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Kaduna State until his death. He was known for his humility, leadership and dedication to the development of his state and country. He died on January 13, 2021 in Kaduna after a brief illness. He was buried according to Islamic rites in his hometown of Makarfi. He was mourned by many political leaders, colleagues and friends who described him as a great loss to the nation.
