She was known for her sorrowful and emotional characters in Nollywood films. She was also fluent in both English and Igbo languages. She was kidnapped in 2022 along with another actor while filming in Enugu, but was later released unhurt. She died in 2023 at the age of 63 after a brief illness. She was mourned by her fans and colleagues in the industry.
