Graham Knuttel

Graham Knuttel was an Irish painter and sculptor, whose work has been collected by various celebrities, such as Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Frank Sinatra, Eddie Jordan and Michael Stipe. Initially known for sculpture, he was later notably primarily as a painter. He attended Sandford Park School, later graduating from the Dún Laoghaire school of Art and Design with a Diploma in Fine Art Sculpture. He always had an interest in figurative work and the story of the human condition. His distinctive figures and bold use of colour brought him international acclaim and he numbered Hollywood stars among those who collected his work. He also designed stamps for the Summer Olympics in 2008 and received commissions to paint famous people such as Sylvester Stallone, Christy Moore, John B. Keane and Don King. He died on 27 May 2023, at the age of 69.
