Tamara Miansarova

Tamara Miansarova was a famous Soviet pop and soprano singer, who performed in various genres and styles. She started her musical career in 1946 as a soloist-vocalist with the Union Concert Tours Association. She gained fame and recognition for her collaboration with the jazz orchestra of Eddie Rosner, where she sang from 1954 to 1959. She also created her own orchestra with her husband Maykl Lipski, and toured extensively in North and South America and Japan. She was known for her charming and expressive voice, her sincere and lively songs, and her sparkling personality. She was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia in 1995. She died in 2017 at the age of 86.
