Savitri Devi

Savitri Devi was a French-born Greek philosopher, writer, and activist who embraced Hinduism and Nazism as complementary expressions of the ancient Aryan tradition. She traveled extensively in India, where she joined the Hindu nationalist movements and served as a spy for the Axis powers during World War II. She also visited Germany and met with prominent Nazis, whom she regarded as the true defenders of Aryan civilization. After the war, she became a leading figure in the neo-Nazi underground, promoting the idea of Hitler as an avatar of Vishnu and a martyr for humanity. She wrote several books, such as The Lightning and the Sun, Gold in the Furnace, and Defiance, in which she expressed her views on history, religion, politics, and ethics. She also influenced other occultists, such as Miguel Serrano and Julius Evola, as well as the modern alt-right movement. She died in 1982 in England, en route to a neo-Nazi conference in the United States.
