Princess Feodora of Leiningen was the only daughter of Emich Carl, Prince of Leiningen and Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. She was the maternal half-sister of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. She married Ernst I, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg in 1828 and had six children. She maintained a close relationship with her sister Victoria throughout their lives, although they had some political differences. She died in 1872 at the age of 64. She is a matrilineal ancestress of Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Felipe VI of Spain. ¹
