About me / Bio:
Dionisie Alexandru Ghermani was a Romanian professor, writer, philanthropist, and political activist. Born in Bucharest, he was the son of engineer and professor Dionisie Germani (Ghermani). He attended Saint Sava National College and graduated from the University of Berlin. Ghermani was a member of the Cross Brotherhood, part of the Iron Guard, and became a political exile in Berlin. After World War II, he collaborated with British intelligence and founded the Institut für Rumänienforschung in Munich and its branch in Bucharest. He passed away in Bucharest on July 5, 2009.
