Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi, born Khaw Sim Bee, was a Thai Chinese provincial administrator known for his significant contributions to the development of Southern Thailand. He introduced the rubber tree to Thailand, which has since become one of the major crops of the country. He also initiated the connection of Trang with other provinces by road and was responsible for one of the first railways in Thailand. His efforts in infrastructure development and the rubber industry have left a lasting impact on the region.
