Duy Khanh

Duy Khanh, born Nguyễn Văn Diệp, was a renowned Vietnamese songwriter and singer. He gained fame in the 1960s with his folk songs and later became one of the top male singers of yellow music. His music, often about the love for his homeland, was influenced by the folk songs of Huế. After the Fall of Saigon, he faced a ban on singing but continued to contribute to music by founding the Quê Hương band. He later moved to the United States and continued his career until his passing.
