Tupsy Clement

Tupsy Clement was a Norwegian painter who married the Danish painter G.F. Clement in 1902. She studied under Hans Heyerdahl in Oslo, Christoph Roth in Munich, and various artists in Paris and Italy. She painted portraits, flowers, exteriors, and landscapes, often influenced by her husband and Theodor Philipsen. She spent her summers in Skagen, Denmark, where she became part of the Skagen Painters group and created some of her most notable works. She also traveled to Italy with her husband and painted scenes from there. She died in Copenhagen in 1959.
