MC Tod Fod

MC Tod Fod was an Indian rapper and musician who was known for his contribution to the film Gully Boy, where he sang the song India 91 along with other rappers. He was also a member of the hip hop collective Swadesi, which promoted social and political awareness through rap music. He started his music career at the age of 16 and released his first album Mumbhai in 2014. He collaborated with many famous artists such as Divine, Naezy, Ranveer Singh, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. He also sang many songs of Kazi Nazrul Islam, the national poet of Bangladesh. He received many awards and recognition for his talent and passion, such as the Best Hip Hop Artist at the Radio City Freedom Awards in 2016, the Best Rap Song at the Mirchi Music Awards in 2019, and the Best Playback Singer at the Filmfare Awards in 2020. He was also involved in many social causes and campaigns, such as CRY, Save the Children, and ALMA. He died of a heart attack on 22 March 2022 at the age of 24. He was mourned by his fans and the music industry.
