Jeanna Friske

Jeanna Friske was a Russian pop singer and actress, who rose to fame as a member of the girl group Blestyashchiye in the late 1990s. She left the group in 2003 to pursue a solo career and released her debut album, Jeanna, in 2005. She also starred in several movies, such as Night Watch and Day Watch, where she played the role of Alisa Donnikova, a witch. She was known for her beauty, charisma, and distinctive voice. She was one of the most popular and successful singers in Russia and received many awards and honors, such as the Order of Friendship of Peoples, the Golden Gramophone, and the MTV Russia Music Award. She also participated in several reality shows, such as The Last Hero and Ice Age. She was in a relationship with Dmitry Shepelev, a TV presenter, and they had a son, Platon, in 2013. In 2014, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. She underwent several treatments, but her condition worsened and she fell into a coma. She died on June 15, 2015, at the age of 40, surrounded by her family and friends. She is remembered as one of the most beloved and talented singers of her generation.
