Nubar Pasha

Nubar Pasha was an Egyptian statesman of Armenian descent who played a significant role in the modernization and reform of Egypt under the rule of Muhammad Ali and his successors. He was the first Prime Minister of Egypt and served three terms in office. He was also a prominent diplomat who negotiated important treaties with the European powers and defended the interests of Egypt against the Ottoman Empire.
