Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha

Princess Sibylla was born in 1908 in Germany as the daughter of the last duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. She was a descendant of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of the United Kingdom. She married Prince Gustaf Adolf of Sweden in 1932 and became a Swedish princess. She had five children, four daughters and one son, who later became the current king of Sweden. She was involved in various charitable and social activities, especially during World War II. She supported the Swedish Red Cross and the Swedish Girl Guides. She also founded the Sibylla Foundation to help children with disabilities. She died in 1972 from cancer at the age of 64. She was buried at the Royal Cemetery in Solna. She is remembered as a devoted mother and a popular princess who adapted well to her new country.
