Skender Temali was an Albanian writer, poet and journalist who was born in Shkodër in 1946. He graduated from the Luigj Gurakuqi University of Shkodër with a degree in Albanian literature and language. He worked for 15 years as an editor for the Radio of Shkodër, the magazine "10 Korriku" and for a quarter of a century as a teacher of literature and director in high schools. He was involved in many literary and cultural activities and organizations in Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Macedonia. He won several local and national awards, as well as a special prize from the International Competition of Writers and Artists "Cristalide" in Italy in 2001. He published 22 books of poetry and prose, and left some manuscripts unfinished. He died from COVID-19 in 2021. [1](^1^) [2](^2^) [3](^3^)
