She collaborated with many famous Iraqi singers and poets, such as Saria Al Sawas, Nizar Qabbani, and Saadoun Jaber. She also acted in several Iraqi films and TV shows. She was widely admired and respected by her fans and peers, and was considered one of the most influential Iraqi singers of her generation. She was also the wife of another famous Iraqi singer and actor, Nathem al Ghazali. She died in 1974 at the age of 73.
